New to Hockey? Play for free!

We want new little hockey players and their families to join us at the rink.

Our Learn to Play Hockey program is for inexperienced skaters ages 3 to 6. We offer four different 2-month-long "seasons" throughout the year (autumn, winter, spring, & summer), with 1 practice per weekend, covering the basics of skating, hockey, and fun on the ice! The best part? Your skater's first ten-week Learn to Play season is free (for MCPASD students)!

Additionally, while we don't offer the program for free, MYH also offers a program for older beginner hockey players (ages 7 to 12). Learn more about our Jumpstart! program here.
