Volunteer as a Locker Room Monitor
Thank you for considering volunteering your time & energy to the kids & families of Middleton Youth Hockey. Our volunteers are what keep Middleton Youth Hockey skating forward!
The Primary Steps to Serving as a Locker Monitor:
Step 1 - Register with USA Hockey as a Manager/Volunteer
After you've registered with USA Hockey, please email your USA Hockey number to our registrar at registrar@middletonyouthhockey.com
*Note: If you are a registered USA Hockey coach, you already have a USA Hockey number and can skip registering again. Please do send your number to our registrar, though.
Step 2 - Complete a USA Hockey Background Screening
In compliance with requirements from the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC), USA Hockey has implemented a national-level background screening policy. Background screens through NCSI under the national program will cost $30 for all domestic screens. On average, background screens take between 3 and 10 business days to complete.
Step 3 - Complete SafeSport Training
SafeSport is free for USA Hockey-registered coaches. SafeSport relates to awareness and prevention of abuse. USA Hockey 'MyHockeyIQ' portal login required (USA Hockey # & password).
